About This Course:
BSc in Nursing (Basic) is a
professional undergraduate program designed to develop highly skilled nurses
with advanced knowledge in nursing science, patient care and healthcare
management.
The program combines theoretical
education, laboratory practice, and extensive clinical training in hospitals.
After completing the 4-year academic course, students must complete a 6-month internship to gain hands-on clinical
experience in clinical areas/hospitals according to logbook.
On the successful completion of
course, the graduates is required to take the BNMC comprehensive license
examination for licensing as a registered as a registered nurse. Then Graduates
of this program are qualified to work in hospitals, healthcare organizations,
education sector, research institutions and public health sectors.
This program is conducted under the academic supervision of Dhaka University and regulated by the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).
